Welcome to the South Bay!

Photo of Palos Verdes Estates from Torrance BeachOur business is real estate, our home is the South Bay. In my 8+ years of professional experience I have become a consumate student of all things real estate in the South Bay. Not only am I a lifelong resident of the area, but I also own several homes here, including multi-unit, income and investment properties.

Before becoming a Realtor, I practically grew up on and around construction sites. Because of this, I have come to view real estate with a very practical “from the ground up” perspective. It’s about the land, it’s about the location, and it’s about the quality of crafstmanship and materials that go into the buildings and structures themselves. There is no other place in the world I would rather live, and as my business has grown, I have been fortunate enough to surround myself with a team of like-minded individuals.

“Everyone’s Tastes Are Different and No Two Homes Are the Same.”

We like to joke around here that, “We are not your interior designer.” We don’t walk into vacant homes and daydream about how we would arrange the furniture or lay it on heavy about what color drapes we think would look best in the late afternoon sunlight. That fact of the matter is that tastes and decors change over time, and as both a veteran Realtor and construction specialist, its my opinion that a practical approach to real estate, focused on assessing the structural integrity and design of the fixtures, flooring, roofing, additions, cabinetry, molding, tiling and so on, is of much greater consequence long-term than where you are planning on hanging that awesome 55″ flatscreen once you move in.

For homebuyers, the best place to start your search is on a website like Trulia.comRealtor.com, or even Zillow and RedFin. Truth be told, the Silicon Valley whiz kids behind these sites seem to have figured out the most functional and intuitive ways to present home searches to the consumer. Just remember though, every real estate website shares the same set of local MLS source information and none has ‘better’ or ‘more’ listings than the other. So feel free to simply use whatever site you like best; keep track of addresses for your Favorite Homes and forward them on to me at Denny@MrSouthBay.com. From there, my team and I can help you prioritize the features you are looking for, offer advice on local South Bay schools districts, neighborhoods, and hidden pockets, as well as direct you to other “hot listings” in the area that are either particularly well-priced or offer exceptional features and location for the money.

For those looking to sell their homes, we have put together a detailed overview of our Signature Sales Approach and step-by-step “Recipe for Success.” We take a lot of pride in getting homes sold for the best price in the shortest amount of time. Over the years, we have come up with a carefully crafted blend of both traditional and Internet-focused marketing strategies that have proven themselves time and again to be an extremely effective way to build buzz about your home. This 21st century approach is what sets us apart from the competition, and more importantly, what ultimately drives interest and physical foot traffic to your home from buyers and their agents.
